A real China?
A bright side of China with fast economic growth or a dark side of China with oppressions against people everywhere? Which side is more real to most of the people live in China? And which side is more real to most of the people outside China?
A riot broke out recently in Longnan, Gansu province, northwestern China, with thousands of people protesting the government. It is one of the areas suffers from the lethal earthquake happened on 12th May, it is one of the areas Dalai Lama called "Great Tibet".
Is this the real China? I believe it is, it is more real than the modernized metropolis like Beijing, Shanghai; it is more real than the "glorious" Olympic game (that game has already sound like an illusion to me); it is more real than a country with huge economic achievements, after all, what's the use of these achievements if it's people have the right to but just can't benefit from it?
Riots like this happened in Longnan become more and more frequent in recent years? I'm not sure what does this mean? Maybe China is changing, with it's people start realizing their rights has been violated, and they should stand up and fight for their own right.
