I still think Chinese animation is disaster

I watched a short tailer here:

http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNjM5NzMwMTY

Which claims to be the first "original" Chinese detective & sci-fi TV animation.

The fact is, I still had a strong feeling that this is a typical Japanese animation, and probably a 1970s one. Why do they call this "original"? Just because they used the tools to create the animation on their own? They still use Japanese artists' thoughts, they still use foreign artists' style, they still use foreign artists' theme of stories. I can see any thing that can remind me this is the work from a Chinese artist, or designer. Then where the hell did they grab the gut to call this "original"?

Forgive me about saying this, but I do think most of the designers and artists in China are already dead inside. They don't know who they are, they don't know where to go. Blindly following everything that looks fantastic without thinking about who they are, what they have as a unique culture, history and literature, and they still think making something out of others' work and call that originality, how shallow and hollow is that.
